Please use this page to securely upload clear photos of your vehicle’s headlights and rear lights so that our team can check what may be required before your Spanish registration or ITV import test.
Vehicle lighting is one of the most important parts of the import process, especially for UK registered vehicles. Clear photos help us identify whether your lights may be suitable, adjustable, or likely to need further work before the vehicle is tested.
Why We Need These Photos
Before your vehicle attends its import ITV test, we may need to check whether the headlights and rear lights are suitable for use in Spain.
This is particularly important for vehicles originally registered in the UK, as the headlight beam pattern and rear fog light position may need to comply with Spanish requirements.
What We Will Check
Our team will review the photos to assess the type of headlights fitted, the condition of the light units, the likely beam direction and the position of the rear fog light.
This early check can help avoid delays and allows us to give you clearer advice before the ITV test.
Photos We Need You to Upload
Please take the photos in good daylight where possible. The vehicle should be parked safely, and the lights should be clearly visible without heavy shadows, glare, or extreme close-up angles.

A clear photo of the whole front of the vehicle showing both headlights.
Close-Up Headlights
Separate close-up photos of each front headlight, showing the lens and internal markings where possible.
Full Rear View
A clear photo of the whole rear of the vehicle showing both rear light clusters.
Rear Fog Light Area
Close-up photos of the rear lights, especially the rear fog light position if visible.
Please upload separate photos where possible, rather than sending one combined collage. Individual photos are much easier for our team to review properly.
Headlights
We need to see the complete headlight units clearly. This helps us check whether the vehicle has standard halogen, projector, LED, xenon or other headlight types.
If there are any markings on the lens, please try to capture these as clearly as possible.
Rear Lights
We also need to check that your vehicle has either dual rear fog lights, a rear fog light on the left, or a single central rear fog light where this is standard for the vehicle.
Please include the whole rear of the vehicle and close-up photos of the rear light clusters.

Use Clear Images
Blurry, dark or incomplete photos may mean we need to ask you to resend them, which can delay your file being checked.
If possible, take the photos outside during the day and avoid reflections from bright sunlight.
