Vehicle Collection
Transporters will always try to collect the vehicle from your location, but this is not always guaranteed. International transporters often use large HGVs and may not be able to access narrow streets, private roads, residential estates or restricted areas.
If your vehicle is located within the M25, it will usually be necessary to arrange collection from a suitable location outside the M25.
Roof Boxes and Personal Items
Roof boxes must be removed before collection and stored inside the vehicle.
If customs need to inspect the vehicle or any contents, a key should be left in the vehicle so checks can be carried out where required.
Payment and Delivery Schedule
Payment Options
A deposit is normally paid at the time of booking. The balance may be payable in cash on collection, cash on delivery, or by bank transfer in advance of delivery, depending on the transport company.
Typical Delivery Time
Vehicles are normally delivered within around 7 days from collection or loading, although this can vary due to ferries, customs, traffic, weather or other delays.
You will normally receive a call around 24 hours before delivery and again around one hour before the vehicle arrives.
Important: Car Registrations Spain Does Not Transport the Vehicles
Car Registrations Spain provides this as a free introduction service. We do not own or operate the transporters, we do not physically move the vehicles, and we are not the transport company.
Any quotation, booking, collection arrangement, payment, insurance arrangement or delivery schedule will be agreed directly between you and the transport company.
