We cannot thank Roger and everyone at Car Registrations Spain
enough for the excellent help they gave us. We bought a Spanish registered car from a large
car dealership here in Spain but when it was due its 1st ITV inspection in Feb, it failed as
the ITV Centre's diagnostic system could not communicate with the cars OBD. The car has been
in and out of garages, who have said they cant find anything wrong or that we needed go to
the car brands repair garage. We even took it to the makes garage and they charged us a fortune
but it still could not pass the ITV. Since the beginning of February the car has had 6 ITV's
all of which failed. I have been emailing everyone I could think of and either got fobbed off
with the promise of a call back which never happened, passed from one company to another or
one department to another and it got me nowhere. Brought over our highly modified mercedes viano which
we had self converted into a camper with pop top roof kitchen solar rock and roll bed
and a towbar, all the things that make it very difficult to register a car in spain,
amazingly the they managed to get engineers certificates for everything and get it
through its itv all for a very competitive price and saved us having to sell a much
loved van and buy a new one so saved a fortune, thanks to all the team for their
hard work.
Not enough stars for you guys. This company takes care for
all stages to register my UK plated car here in Spain. Very good communication. Never see a
person but all works done in few weeks. Just get my new Spanish reg. And already thinking
about my second vehicle to re-register from UK to E. Definitely and 100% recommended this
company and sending best regards to all team members who's working hard to make a customers
happy.
Made it easy
The car registrations team made a complicated process really low effort for us. Give them
the documents they need and they take care of the rest including ITV, insurance, temporary
plates if needed, picking up and returning the car to our parking provider. Thank you.

was completed. Headlights changed, Insurance sorted and number plates arrived

I have to say, what a brilliant service. The van was not easy to get sorted for various reasons, but they never gave up and my papers are on the way. Only small thing I'd say is, seemed to speak to someone different almost every time and service could be a little more personal, but that aside I am over the moon with what you have done thankyou very much.

Just completed the process of registration linked to Spanish residency. This included visiting their office, meeting and communicating with most of the staff and watching at first hand the skills and expertise they have. There is no doubt that without their knowledge and guidance, we probably would not have been able to complete the process or it would have cost us an extremely high amount to do so. It is probably unfair to mention names as I dealt with many people there by email, phone and personal visits, but I have to mention Stuart, who guided me through ITV issues and some alterations that were required, and did a fantastic job overall. All of the people there are professional, polite, helpful, respectful and provide a service that is great value for money. I was told that the main hurdle they face is that clients sometimes think they know better or do not listen. My impression is that Car Registrations have many years of experience and know exactly how to get you to the finish line. Highly recommended and appreciated.

Apprehensive at the start. Drove down and met the team, lovely pleasant crowd walked me through the process, mind boggling, two weeks sorted couple of issues but they helped sort them. I was more of a pain than the whole process. Just need to get your head around the bureaucracy of it all. But overall couldn't fault them. Happy to recommend if required.
Not straightforward at all. American import on English plates. Reverse camera wrong. Fog and reverse lights wrong. Headlights wrong. Even chassis number queried. But this team of professionals persevered and went above and beyond. Their insurance team got us a great deal (less than half our UK premium). Our much loved Ford Expedition is now Spanish and they even got the emissions sticker for us. Very happy customer. Highly recommend.
What an excellent service! We imported our son's car, and I can honestly say the experience was absolutely brilliant from the very first contact right through to the completion of the process. The team supported us every step of the way and even arranged car insurance for us, which was incredibly helpful as we are still unfamiliar with the Spanish system and do not yet speak Spanish. After looking into registering my car on the Costa del Sol, I was bombarded with all different information on requirements, rules, pricings etc etc. I contacted Car Registrations and they made it sound all too easy!! So after a couple of pretty straight forward emails I drove up and two and a half hours later was all done!! It was well worth the 5 hour drive up and out of 5 different companies quotes were also cheapest!! Great service all round!
Our car was on hold by the Spanish tax authorities, but after much back and forth Roger and his team sorted any issues out. So a big thank you to all concerned and will ccertainly use them again.

Have just been through importing UK car onto Spanish plates using Car Registrations Spain. All I can say is wow !! From 1st meeting staff @ Los Alcázares on 10 Feb, car headlights altered, itv done same day within few hours, car was all ready to go in Spain. Just paperwork to wait on to put plates onto car. Received phone call incredibly today 20th Feb while back in UK to say all documentation is done & car plates are at the office for me to pick up when next over in Spain. That's only been 10 days from 1st time in office to car being ready for Spanish roads. Absolutely incredible!! Must give a massive thanks to all staff when visited shop to enquire how this process works. Tbh it all happened so fast I was expecting to be waiting 2 or 3 months to get it all done at best, but staff are bang on the ball with process. Hi. It's not often you get a company that does what it says it will do, when it says it will do it and at the first price it quotes, but this company does exactly that. Everyone we have dealt with at the company has been exceptionally good and surprise, surprise they respond to your messages and call you back. There are no superlatives to adequately describe the assistance I have received from Roger and Car Registrations Spain. Back in 2018, I engaged Roger and his team to matriculate two cars and a motorcycle for me in Spain. None of the processes were straightforward, but thanks to their knowledge and persistence, everything was completed correctly and compliantly, for which I was extremely grateful. Fast-forward to January 2026, when I took one of those vehicles - a Mercedes CLK Cabriolet with a factory fitted AMG body kit - for its annual ITV inspection. This vehicle has passed its ITV every year since 2018 without issue. On this occasion, however, the testing station unexpectedly raised a query regarding the body kit, despite the vehicle not having been altered in any way since it was first imported and registered in Spain. As the body kit was fitted prior to registration and had been accepted at multiple ITV tests in previous years, I contacted Roger for advice. Despite not having spoken for several years, he immediately recalled the vehicle and confirmed that the AMG body kit formed part of the car’s original specification at the time of matriculation. With this clarification provided, I returned to the ITV station and the vehicle subsequently passed its inspection without issue. I cannot thank Roger enough for his professionalism and willingness to assist, even years after the original work was completed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Car Registrations Spain to anyone experiencing difficulties with a UK-registered vehicle in Spain.

I have had so many sleepless nights and shed
so many tears the past weeks. Our car is vital to us as my husband has a chronic heart problem
so has to attend hospital at regular intervals so being without a roadworthy car is
horrendous. After almost 4 months of getting nowhere, my sister, who lives in France, rang me
and said that she had sent a message to Car Registrations Spain and they had responded
straight away so the next day, I got in touch and Roger rang me. I explained everything to
him and as the office is not far from where we live, we went to the office at 1.30pm. The
staff were fantastic and so was Pedro, a mechanic who helped. next thing we know, the
problem was solved, they came to the ITV Centre with us and it passed. After months of
worry, tears and sleepless night and Car Registrations Spain solved it in less that 3
day since my sister found them online. We can highly recommend them. I know in future we
will be taking our car there when it need's an ITV. We will also be using them again in
September when our house and car insurance is up for renewal. I have never known a company
be so helpful, thoughtful, efficient, honest and very professional. Thank all so much.
