VEHICLE CHECK

Before purchasing a vehicle we strongly recommend that you obtain a vehicle search to ensure that there are no taxes, embargoes or outstanding finance on the vehicle that would prevent the vehicle being transferred. The cost of the search will be knocked off the transfer price.

TRANSFERING OWNERSHIP - HOW IT WORKS

Our automated system simplifies the entire process, reducing the amount of paperwork and bureaucratic hurdles typically involved in transferring vehicle ownership. Here's how you can take advantage of our innovative service:

1. Fill In The Form: Once you're happy to proceed, start by filling in our web form with all the required information about the buyer, the seller and the vehicle.


2. Upload Necessary Documents: Next, upload all the necessary documents. These include proof of identity (both parties), proof of address (both parties), and vehicle documentation (Permiso de Circulación and Ficha Técnica).


3. Receive Payment Link and Sales Agreement: Upon successful submission and validation of your form and documents, you'll receive an email from us containing a payment link and a completed sales agreement.


4. E-Sign the Sales Agreement: Both the buyer and seller need to e-sign the sales agreement. This ensures that all terms are clear and agreed upon by both parties.


5. Payment of Fees and Taxes: Use the payment link to pay the necessary fees and taxes, which normally range between 4% and 8% of the vehicle's value. Additionally, there will be a fee payable to DGT/Tráfico and there is also our fee which is typically 99 euros inc. IVA.


6. Complete The Transfer: Once all documentation has been received, payment made and both parties have signed the agreement, we will take care of the rest and complete the transfer to the buyer. You'll receive a confirmation once this is done.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Included in the transfer cost is provision of a digital temporary registration document, a new Permiso de Circulación in one of our Car Registrations Spain document wallets, a free environmental sticker (if your vehicle qualifies) and courier service of your new documentation to any address in Spain.

As a licenced Spanish insurance agent we will usually be able to find you extremely competitive insurance pricing if required. Just let us know how many years no claims you have at the bottom of the form and we'll do the rest!
